Green Bay's All-Time Leading Receiver and Super Bowl Champion
Green Bay Packers All-Time Leading Receiver, “Dancing with the Stars” Champion and New York Times Bestselling Author Donald Driver continues to add star-power to his Driven to Achieve Awards event lineup, today announcing seven time Grammy Award winning recording artist Gladys Knight will perform a private concert for event guests.
Presented by BMO Harris Bank, the Driven to Achieve Awards were created by Driver to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of multiple charities, companies, community leaders and celebrities that are making a difference on a national and local level.
Last month, Driver announced his friend and “Good Morning America” co-anchor Josh Elliott would be hosting the inaugural awards event March 29th at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, WI.
In addition to performing, Knight will also be the recipient of the “Lifetime of Giving” award for her work with the American Diabetes Association, for which she is a national spokesperson, the American Cancer Society, the Boys & Girls Club of America, the Minority AIDS Project amfAR and many other organizations throughout her career.
“Right away when I met Gladys on Dancing with the Stars, we had an instant connection,” Driver said. “As I got to know her more, I found out she and I share the same passion for giving back to others and making this world a better place. When you add that up with her musical talents, I knew she was the perfect person not only to perform at the event, but to also be our very first Driven to Achieve Celebrity Award winner.”
In addition to BMO Harris Bank, other community leaders supporting the program include MillerCoors and Jockey.
Sponsor tables for the black-tie event are currently available, though space is limited. Interested organizations can contact Lammi Sports Management at 414.727.3600 or Pat Mueller of P.M. Mueller & Associates at 262.796.1005 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
